The AndyMark EVO Shifter am14u Family Hex Shaft, StageA 2 Stage - 04.77:1 Ratio, StageB 2 Stage - 16.37:1 Ratio represents a significant advancement in shifting transmission gearboxes. This two-speed, shift-on-the-fly gearbox is designed with an improved 4-tooth dog shifting method, allowing for seamless transitions between speeds. It accommodates motor inputs from two CIM or NEO motors and can be configured with either two or three interior stages, offering flexibility in output shaft selection. The gearbox is shipped assembled, though motors are not installed.

Significant improvements have been made over previous models, including a robust 1/8" diameter shoulder screw and a dog gear crafted from AMPCO® 18 Bronze, which enhances strength and lubricity. The shift block assembly is reinforced with a larger bearing and threaded steel housing. The input stage employs 32 DP gears and a 15-tooth pinion gear, facilitating a high 85:15 first stage reduction. Users can independently select high and low ratios, with the option to swap ratios as needed. The gearbox also supports various encoder options, including the US Digital E4T.

The EVO Shifter features aggressive weight reduction and is designed for easy assembly, with cluster gears that have identical features on both sides. An optional third stage provides additional ratio choices. It can be mounted to an AM14U family chassis or a 2"x1" box tube frame. The pneumatic shift method, powered by a spring-extend pneumatic cylinder, allows for shifting during acceleration, pushing, or deceleration.
