Perfect for mounting IR sensor

I purchased this to hold an ultrasonic sensor that I was mounting to a pan/tilt head to do sonar mapping. I had purchased the ultrasonic sensors (HC-SR04) from other sources. They did not match up to the mounting holes in this housing. I ended up using some double sided tape to hold the sensor to the housing. (The HC-SR04 sensors are not very good!) I subsequently purchased a MaxSonar (MB1340) sensor. That sensor did not match the mounting holes either, but it was not difficult to drill out some new mounting holes.
