The Weather HAT for Raspberry Pi is designed to facilitate the connection of weather sensors with ease. Onboard sensors can measure temperature, humidity, pressure, and light. Sturdy RJ11 connectors enable the easy attachment of wind and rain sensors.
The Weather HAT is compatible with any Raspberry Pi that has a 40-pin header, excluding older models. It can be installed outdoors in a weatherproof enclosure, such as a Stevenson screen, a waterproof junction box, or a plastic container, and connected wirelessly for data logging or integration with Weather Underground, an MQTT broker, or a cloud service like Adafruit IO.
Alternatively, the Weather HAT can be housed indoors with wires running to external weather sensors, utilizing the LCD screen to display readouts.
