The Waveshare UPS HAT (D) for Raspberry Pi, Supports 21700 Li Battery (not Included), 5V Uninterruptible Power Supply, Pogo Pins Connector is an advanced expansion board designed to provide a stable power supply to Raspberry Pi devices. It supports simultaneous charging and power output, ensuring uninterrupted operation even during power outages. The board features dynamic path management and a boost converter chip to maintain a consistent 5V output. It is compatible with Raspberry Pi models 3, 3B+, and 4B, utilizing a pogo pins connector to power the device without occupying GPIO resources.

This UPS HAT incorporates an onboard Li battery charging chip and supports real-time monitoring of battery voltage, current, power, and remaining capacity through the I2C interface. It includes multiple battery protection circuits, such as overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short circuit protection, enhancing safety and stability. The onboard MCU management system detects power connections and can automatically reboot the Raspberry Pi, while LED indicators provide a visual status of battery operations.

The device supports 21700 Li batteries, offering extended battery life, and features USB interfaces for convenient charging and power output. The UPS HAT is equipped with an acrylic protection panel and screws for secure installation. Note: Li-ion and Li-po batteries are unstable and may cause fire or injury if not properly handled.
