The Waveshare SIM7600NA-H 4G HAT for Raspberry Pi, LTE Cat-4 4G Support, GNSS Positioning (North America) enables advanced LTE Cat-4 4G communication and GNSS positioning capabilities. It is designed to integrate seamlessly with Raspberry Pi series boards and Jetson Nano, providing a versatile solution for various applications. The HAT supports various communication protocols, including TCP, UDP, HTTP, and FTP, and offers GNSS positioning through GPS, BeiDou, Glonass, GALILEO, QZSS, and LBS base station systems.
This device features a standard Raspberry Pi 40-pin GPIO extension header and an onboard USB interface for testing AT Commands and obtaining GPS positioning data. It includes a CP2102 USB to UART converter for serial debugging and breakout UART control pins for connecting with host boards such as Arduino and STM32. The SIM card slot accommodates 1.8V/3V SIM cards, and an onboard audio jack facilitates telephone calls.
The HAT is equipped with two LED indicators for monitoring operational status and a voltage translator that allows configuration of the operating voltage to either 3.3V or 5V. It supports a baud rate range from 300bps to 4Mbps, with autobauding capabilities. The device is controlled via AT commands and supports the SIM application toolkit, making it suitable for applications in healthcare, smart payment, environmental monitoring, and more.
