The Waveshare RP2040-BLE Raspberry Pi Microcontroller w/ Bluetooth 5.1 Dual Mode is a sophisticated development board designed by Raspberry Pi in the United Kingdom. It features a dual-core Arm Cortex M0+ processor that can operate at a flexible clock speed of up to 133 MHz. The board is equipped with 264KB of SRAM and 2MB of onboard Flash memory, supporting Bluetooth 5.1 dual-mode functionality. The onboard Bluetooth module facilitates control via serial AT commands for a quick start-up.
This development board includes an onboard FPC 8PIN connector, which can adapt to a USB Type-C port via an optional adapter board. Its castellated module design allows for direct soldering to carrier boards, enhancing its versatility. The board also offers drag-and-drop programming using mass storage over USB, low-power sleep and dormant modes, and a temperature sensor.
