The Waveshare Core429I STM32F4 Core Board is a sophisticated development platform designed for the STM32F429IGT6 microcontroller, offering a comprehensive solution for application development within the STM32F family. This core board integrates essential components such as a clock circuit, USB power management, and a USB connector, ensuring a minimal yet ready-to-run system. It features onboard 64M Bit SDRAM and provides access to all I/O ports via pin headers, facilitating extensive expansion capabilities.
The board is equipped with a high-performance STM32F429IGT6 microcontroller, which operates on a Cortex-M4 32-bit RISC core, supporting single-cycle DSP instructions. It functions at an operating frequency of 180MHz and accommodates a wide range of communication interfaces, including SPI, USART, UART, I2S, SAI, I2C, FMC, SDIO, CAN, LCD-TFT, USB 2.0, and Ethernet MAC, among others. Additionally, it includes advanced features such as AD and DA converters, and a JTAG/SWD interface for programming and debugging.
The Core429I board is designed with flexibility in mind, featuring a 2.0mm header pitch for easy integration into application boards. It includes a power supply switch, boot mode selection, and various jumpers for configuring power and connectivity options. The board is complemented by development resources such as schematics, demo code, and STM32 development software, providing a robust foundation for developers.
Note: A separate debugger is required for programming and debugging as the board does not integrate these functions.
