This module is designed to provide a paper-like effect without the need for electricity, making it ideal for applications such as price tags, shelf labels, and industrial instruments. The display operates with a resolution of 792x272 pixels and supports three colors: red, black, and white.
This e-paper module utilizes microcapsule electrophoretic technology, which allows it to reflect ambient light, similar to traditional printed paper. This feature ensures clear visibility of images and text under both lamplight and natural light conditions, without the need for a backlight. The display's passively reflective nature and nearly 180° viewing angle enhance its usability in various lighting environments.
The module is equipped with an SPI interface, facilitating seamless integration with various controller boards such as Raspberry Pi, Jetson Series, Arduino, and STM32. It includes an onboard voltage translator, ensuring compatibility with both 3.3V and 5V microcontroller units. The e-paper module maintains its last displayed content even when powered down, requiring power only for refreshing the display.
