The Velleman 3.5A Dimmer w/ Potentiometer Soldering Kit easily replaces an existing switch, permitting you to vary the brightness of a light or group of lights.
The dimmer may also be used to adjust the speed of a motor, vacuum cleaner, or any other motor with carbon brushes. A mains suppresser is provided eliminating undesirable RFI. It is not suitable for halogen lamps.
