Unitree R1 EDU Pro D (U6) Humanoid Robot is a full-size bipedal humanoid platform from Unitree Robotics, engineered for advanced robotics research, higher education, and applied AI development. Its full-body kinematic architecture spans the legs, arms, waist, and head, providing a range of motion that closely mirrors human movement across everyday environments. The U6 variant integrates BrainCo Revo 2 Touch five-finger dexterous hands, setting it apart within the R1 EDU line through multi-modal tactile feedback distributed across all contact surfaces. This configuration is particularly well-suited for dexterous manipulation research, object interaction studies, and tasks conducted in human-centered indoor settings.
The R1 EDU Pro D (U6) is built around a high-capacity AI computing architecture that enables real-time perception, autonomous decision-making, and multi-modal sensory fusion entirely on board. Vision-based environmental awareness works alongside direct tactile feedback from the hands, allowing the platform to adapt its behavior dynamically during contact-rich tasks. Onboard audio processing supports voice command reception and contextual spoken response, facilitating natural human-robot interaction within research and educational environments. Battery autonomy of approximately one hour per charge allows for extended uninterrupted laboratory sessions. An open development ecosystem spanning multiple interface levels, a widely adopted robotics middleware framework, and physics simulation compatibility makes this humanoid AI robotics platform accessible to researchers, engineers, and educational institutions building next-generation autonomous systems.

Capabilities
The R1 EDU Pro D (U6) brings together advanced dexterous manipulation, high-performance AI compute, an open developer ecosystem, and full-body bipedal mobility in a single integrated humanoid platform.
Revo 2 Touch Hands
Five-finger dexterous hands from BrainCo with 11 DOF each. Four-channel multi-modal tactile sensing covers pressure, friction, force direction, and proximity for precise object interaction.
100 TOPS AI Compute
Powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin delivering 100 TOPS of on-board neural processing. An 8-core high-performance CPU handles parallel computation for real-time autonomous operation.
Developer Ecosystem
Unitree SDK2 with CycloneDDS, ROS 2 including rosbag2 and MoveIt2, and Isaac Sim compatibility. High-level and low-level interfaces give teams full control over autonomy and motion pipelines.
Full-Body Bipedal
48 total actuated DOF across 6-DOF legs, 5-DOF arms, 2-DOF waist, and 2-DOF head. Bipedal locomotion platform capable of dynamic walking and balance across real-world environments.
Use Cases & Application Scenarios
The R1 EDU Pro D (U6) is built for research environments and development teams that need a fully capable, open humanoid platform for real-world application work.
Autonomous Facility Patrol
Its binocular depth camera module continuously scans the environment, making it effective for security rounds, anomaly detection, and access monitoring across warehouses, campuses, and commercial buildings. Revo 2 Touch hands with four-channel tactile sensing detect pressure and contact during physical interaction on patrol.
Industrial Site Monitoring
Equipped with a binocular camera and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, the R1 can navigate industrial environments to monitor equipment, check gauges, and relay live visual data to a control center. Its 2 kg per-arm carry capacity allows it to transport inspection tools or light supplies between stations. Four-channel multi-modal tactile sensing enables precise, feedback-aware handling of equipment and sensitive instruments.
Reception and Customer Interaction
The R1's built-in 4-mic array, speaker, and multimodal voice and vision AI allow it to greet visitors, answer common questions, and guide people through a space. It is immediately deployable as a lobby greeter, retail floor assistant, or exhibition presence without any custom programming. Revo 2 Touch hands sense pressure and proximity in every handshake and object exchange, enabling the most natural physical interaction in the R1 lineup.
Education and Live Demonstrations
Standing 123 cm tall with 48 degrees of freedom, the R1 makes a compelling subject for classroom robotics education and live demonstrations at trade shows or corporate events. Natural bipedal movement and voice interaction bring humanoid robotics to life for any audience. Revo 2 Touch hands with four-channel tactile sensing make the U6 the most sensor-rich demonstration platform in the R1 family.

If you are not satisfied with a product purchased from the Site, you may request a return within 30 days from the delivery date, unless the product is listed under the Return Exceptions below or is subject to specific return conditions noted on the product page.
This return policy also applies, as a minimum standard, to products sold and fulfilled by third-party vendors through the Marketplace.
Returns under this policy concern non-defective products. In the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect, remedies are handled under the Warranty terms, at the Vendor's discretion. See the Warranty section.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a refund under the 30-day return policy, all of the following conditions must be met:
A valid Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained prior to returning the product. Returns without an RA number will be refused.
The RA number is valid for 30 days. The returned item must be received within that period.
The RA number must be included with the return.
Products must be returned in unused, unmodified condition (e.g., no scratches, alterations, missing parts, or signs of installation/use) and in their original packaging, suitable for resale.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of a product confirmed defective through RobotShop's troubleshooting process or of a verified shipping error by RobotShop.
Refunds are processed within 7 days after receipt and inspection of the returned item.
A $100 cleaning fee may apply to domestic robots returned in used or unclean condition.
A 20% restocking fee may apply to large-quantity returns of items ordered specifically for the customer from the manufacturer or not part of RobotShop's standard inventory.
