The Unipi Patron S117 is a sophisticated programmable logic controller (PLC) and gateway, meticulously crafted for automation, control, regulation, and monitoring applications. This compact model boasts a universal architecture that seamlessly integrates digital and analog inputs and outputs, making it ideal for straightforward installations. A standout feature of the S117 is its four RS485 serial interfaces, which facilitate its integration into extensive serial bus systems or serve as an aggregator for various serial protocols. Additionally, the controller is equipped with a 1-Wire interface, allowing for the connection of digital temperature or humidity sensors.
The device is powered by the robust NXP i.MX 8M Mini quad-core CPU, based on the Arm Cortex-A53 architecture, ensuring high performance and reliability. Developed and manufactured within the European Union, the S117 is housed in a durable aluminium chassis with an IP20 rating, specifically designed for DIN rail installation. The controller's software is based on a Linux operating system, offering significant openness and flexibility for customization.
The Unipi Patron S117 comes with a pre-installed Mervis system, which can be manually re-installed if necessary, and includes a free Mervis software license. The controller's internal memory comprises 8 GB of eMMC storage, complemented by 1 GB of RAM, ensuring ample space and speed for various applications. The device also features broad extension options, including Power over Ethernet (PoE), secure boot, and wireless technologies, enhancing its versatility and adaptability in diverse environments.
