The Unipi Patron M207 is a sophisticated programmable logic controller (PLC) and gateway, meticulously engineered for automation, control, regulation, and monitoring tasks. This device is particularly suited for expansive projects due to its extensive array of digital and relay inputs and outputs. It is equipped with three serial interfaces, including RS485 and RS232, which facilitate the connection of extension modules or gateways. Additionally, the inclusion of a 1-Wire interface allows for the integration of digital temperature or humidity sensors.
The controller is powered by the robust NXP i.MX 8M Mini quad-core CPU, based on the Arm Cortex-A53 architecture, ensuring high performance and reliability. Developed and manufactured within the European Union, the M207 boasts an internal 8 GB eMMC memory, providing ample storage for various applications. Its durable aluminium chassis, rated at IP20, is designed for seamless installation onto a DIN rail, enhancing its suitability for industrial environments.
The M207 operates on a Linux-based system, offering software openness and flexibility. It comes with a pre-installed Mervis system, which can be manually re-installed if necessary, and includes a free Mervis software license. The controller's design supports a wide range of extension options, including Power over Ethernet (PoE), secure boot, and wireless technologies, making it adaptable to diverse operational requirements.
