The Cube Orange+ (IB) is a specialised build of CubePilot's flagship autopilot module, sharing the same processing hardware and sensor suite as the standard version but with revised internal damping. The change targets airframes producing vibration outside the range the standard module is tuned for, most often those driven by combustion engines rather than electric motors. Everything else carries over, so the module estimates attitude and position and drives control outputs exactly as its sibling does. Because the damping is matched to a narrower vibration profile, this version gets ordered deliberately rather than chosen as a general upgrade. Operators normally arrive at it after diagnosing a vibration problem on a specific vehicle.

Sensing rests on redundancy rather than a single measurement chain, with independent inertial and pressure readings cross referenced before the autopilot commits to an estimate. Should one source drift, the firmware carries on through the remaining channels instead of surrendering control authority. Operators plan missions, tune parameters and review logs from a ground control station across a telemetry link, exactly as with any other Cube. Deployment follows the same pattern too, since the module carries no power management or connectors of its own and instead plugs into a carrier board, whether an off the shelf design or one built against the published interface. Its users are typically integrators and research teams already running the open source ArduPilot stack who have identified a vibration issue the standard module cannot settle.
