The SystemBase TALUS Bluetooth USB Dongle Class1, Range Up to 100m adds Bluetooth communication to a laptop or PC, supporting Bluetooth v4.0 + EDR. This allows users to communicate and manage devices in a large factory without being constrained by distance.
Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) allows for faster data transfer technology in Bluetooth communication. Initially, Bluetooth was designed to support a communication speed of up to 1Mbps, but with EDR, the maximum communication speed is increased to 3Mbps, thus providing faster communication with the TALUS.
The TALUS supports a variety of profiles for specific purposes, such as SPP (Serial Port Profile), HID (Human Interface Device), and A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). This enables users to connect to a wide range of devices.
