The SparkFun GNSS RTK Breakout - mosaic-G5 P3 is a compact and versatile breakout board designed to deliver millimeter-level precision in positioning applications. It integrates the Septentrio mosaic-G5 receiver, which supports multiple GNSS constellations including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, and QZSS. This makes it an ideal choice for applications in surveying, robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT), where constraints on size, weight, and power consumption are critical.

The board is engineered to provide ultra-low power consumption while maintaining high performance. It features AIM+ technology for anti-jamming, ensuring reliable operation even in challenging environments. The breakout board is equipped with a USB-C connector, dual Qwiic connectors, and a 4-pin JST-GH connector, facilitating easy integration into various systems. Additionally, it includes an SMA connector for an active, multi-band GNSS antenna, enhancing its capability to deliver precise positioning data.

The device supports a wide range of interfaces, including dual UARTs and USB 2.0, and offers user-programmable GPIOs and event markers. It is capable of simultaneous tracking on 789 channels and provides rapid time-to-fix, with cold start times under 35 seconds and reacquisition in just 1 second. The board's update rate is 20 Hz, with latency under 10 milliseconds, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
