The SONOFF Zigbee Human Presence Sensor SNZB-06P is an advanced device designed to detect human presence through movement or stillness, capable of sensing subtle motions including breathing and heartbeat. Equipped with intelligent radar, this sensor is adept at illuminating spaces seamlessly when presence is detected. The built-in light detector of the SNZB-06P ensures that lighting is only activated in dark environments when necessary, aiding in energy conservation.
This human presence sensor is versatile, offering compatibility with a variety of Zigbee hubs, thereby enhancing the potential of home automation systems. Despite the possibility of being recognized as a motion sensor on some platforms, the SNZB-06P maintains its primary function as a human presence detector. Additionally, the device facilitates local smart scene linkage between Zigbee devices, which remains operational even in the absence of network connectivity, ensuring a consistently responsive smart home environment.
The SNZB-06P is also compatible with multiple platforms, including Alexa, Google Home, Smartthings, Alice, IFTTT, and Home Assistant. This wide-ranging compatibility allows for a customized smart home setup, providing users with the freedom to select their preferred platforms. Furthermore, the sensor offers three levels of sensitivity and can detect presence within a distance of up to 4 meters (13 feet). With various installation options such as magnetic attraction, 3M Adhesive, or screws, the sensor can be conveniently placed in any required location.
For optimal compatibility, the SONOFF SNZB-06P may appear as a motion sensor on certain platforms, but it retains the functionality of a human presence sensor.
