The SmartPhone Controlled Switch - LazyBone V5 (Bluetooth) is a smart switch controlled by phones via Bluetooth, supporting both Android and iOS. It’s a convenient and easy-to-use product that can be used to control your home’s electrical equipment, such as light bulbs. By using the momentary mode, you can use it to control your garage-door or any other devices that need a password protection.
It has wider DC input voltage range. The other functions are compatible with lazybone v4. You can use the same APP to control this unit. You can use it to control a lamp, a router, a fan or other electrical equipment (on and off) by the Android/iOS phone or PC. It also supports momentary ouput (pulse time 100ms-20s).

The lazybone was what I was looking for: a relay that I could use in a robot that could be activated by my phone instead of by the remote as an extra safety measure. The relay itself is well made, and the documentation is simple to follow. Unfortunately where this product loses big points is its mobile app. The app often has connectivity issues, and I have to routinely force stop the app and re-open it in order to have it reconnect to the device, or to actually activate the relay from the app when it states it is connected. If the app worked properly this would have received a much higher review.
