The Sherline Manual 8-Inch Tabletop Lathe Package A (Inch) is a compact and versatile machine designed for precision work on small parts. It is capable of turning parts up to 3.5 inches in diameter over the bed and 1.88 inches over the carriage, with the option to increase this capacity to 6 inches with the use of riser blocks. The lathe offers 8 inches of space between centers, making it suitable for a variety of tasks, including clockmaking and modeling. Its compact size allows it to be easily stored and used in areas where space is limited, such as on a closet shelf.

Equipped with an electronic speed control, this lathe provides a continuously variable speed range from 70 to 2800 RPM, eliminating the need for belt changes.
