Compact mini milling machine
Manufactured in the USA
The Sherline Manual 10-Inch Tabletop Mill with Zero Adjustable Handwheels (Metric) is an advanced version of the Model 5000-series mill, featuring zero adjustable handwheels that replace the standard non-resettable ones. This tabletop milling machine is equipped with a robust 10-inch aluminum base and precision-machined dovetailed slides with adjustable gibs. It includes permanently lubricated spindle bearings and adjustable preload anti-backlash feed screws on the X- and Y-axes, ensuring high precision and durability. The zero adjustable handwheels allow users to reset the handwheel to zero at any time without moving the leadscrew, facilitating easier dimension dialing and reducing mathematical errors. This feature, typically found on larger, more expensive machines, enhances the functionality of this compact mill.
The mill is designed for those requiring a mini milling machine capable of producing small, precision parts. Despite its compact size, it is capable of cutting not only wood and plastic but also aluminum and steel, offering full-size machine precision and accuracy. The machine is manufactured in the USA, ensuring high-quality standards and excellent customer service. The Sherline mill is ideal for desktop use, combining economy with the luxury of adjustable handwheels, making it a versatile tool for precision machining tasks.
Note: Ensure proper handling and operation to avoid injury or damage.
