Ensures lubrication with oil reservoirs on all axes
The Sherline 14-Inch 8-Direction Benchtop Mill Package A with DRO (Inch) is a sophisticated machining tool designed to enhance precision and versatility in various milling tasks. This benchtop mill is equipped with a digital readout system that provides accurate measurements of table travel across three axes, ensuring meticulous control over machining processes. The digital readout box, coupled with special handwheels featuring built-in electronic encoders, allows users to reset the readout to zero at any point, facilitating precise adjustments and reducing errors. Additionally, the spindle RPM is continuously displayed, offering real-time monitoring of the machine's performance.
This benchtop mill is particularly suitable for producing small, precision parts from materials such as wood, plastic, aluminum, and steel. Despite its compact size, it delivers the precision and accuracy typically associated with full-size machines. The digital readout system enhances the user experience by simplifying the tracking of distance and direction, thereby minimizing the tedious task of counting handwheel revolutions and reducing the likelihood of errors.
The mill is powered by a robust 90V DC motor with an electronic speed controller, providing a spindle speed range from 70 to 2800 RPM. The machine's base and table are laser-engraved with scales, and oil reservoirs on the X/Y and Z axes ensure critical components remain well-lubricated. The package includes a variety of essential accessories such as a step block hold-down set, a milling vise, and a selection of end mills and collets, making it a comprehensive solution for advanced machining projects.
Note: Ensure proper safety measures are followed when operating the mill to prevent accidents or injuries.
