This CNC-ready mill is ideal for creating small, precision parts and is capable of cutting materials such as wood, plastic, aluminum, and steel. Despite its compact desktop size, it offers the precision and accuracy of a full-size machine, making it suitable for light-industrial and home-shop use.
This mill is equipped with factory-installed stepper motor mounts, allowing for seamless integration with CNC systems. However, it is important to note that stepper motors, a computer, and CNC software are not included and must be installed separately to operate the machine. The inclusion of handwheels for each axis allows for manual control when dual-shaft stepper motors are installed, providing flexibility in operation.
The machine features a robust 90V DC motor with an electronic speed controller, ensuring consistent performance across a range of speeds. The 12-inch base supports a 2.75-inch by 13.0-inch table with two T-slots, facilitating a variety of machining tasks. Additional components such as pulleys, a drive belt, and a set of hexagonal keys are included to assist in setup and operation.
