The ServoCity Stingray-5 Servo Gearbox (0.85 Sec/60°, 1750 Oz-in Torque, 360° Rotation) is engineered to enhance torque and precision through a 5:1 external gear ratio, driven by the goBILDA® 5-Turn Torque Servo. This configuration reduces the range while amplifying torque and precision fivefold. The servo is securely mounted within the gearbox, isolating the load to a steel hub-shaft supported by ball bearings, thereby safeguarding the servo from axial loads. The gearbox features M4 threaded holes on each side, compatible with the goBILDA® system, offering versatile mounting options. The hub on the gearbox top provides additional threaded holes for fastening, and the 8mm REX bore of the hub-shaft can accommodate an 8mm REX shaft or serve as a wire pass-through. The control signal remains consistent with standard servos, allowing easy integration with R/C receivers, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or REV controllers. The servo remains unmodified, ensuring FTC compliance. The gearbox is available in feedback mode, where the signal controls position, and continuous mode, where the signal controls speed and direction. Switching between modes is possible with a 3102-0001 servo programmer, thanks to the dual-mode capability of the goBILDA® 5-Turn Torque Servo. Note: Ensure proper handling to avoid damage from axial loads.
