  • Operates efficiently across a 12-24V power range

The ServoCity Heavy-Duty Linear Servo (Position Control, 12-24V, 225lb Thrust, 0.3"/sec, 2" Stroke) is a sophisticated device engineered to respond to PWM signals, distinguishing it from traditional linear actuators that require a motor controller with feedback capabilities. This linear servo is designed for seamless integration with a servo controller, eliminating the need for additional tuning or complex wiring. Its advanced internal circuitry accepts PWM signals from various controllers, including wired servo controllers, wireless transmitters, and microcontrollers like Arduino. The closed-loop feedback system enables precise control of the extension tube's position by continuously monitoring the internal potentiometer's readings and adjusting the motor's power accordingly. The device is powered through a male XT30 connector, requiring a 12V input with a minimum of 5A, and it efficiently shares power with the servo controller via a twisted lead. This linear servo can replace pneumatic and hydraulic systems, offering efficient linear thrust through its ACME screw mechanism, which prevents back-driving under static loads even when power is removed. Constructed with durable metal, it ensures reliability and can operate in any orientation, providing equal force in both pulling and pushing directions. The mounting clevis near the motor is fixed, while the one on the extension tube is rotatable to accommodate different application requirements. Note: Ensure proper voltage and current specifications are adhered to for safe operation.
