The SeeedStudio reComputer Industrial R2245-12 is an industrial-grade network video recorder designed for advanced AI applications. It is built on the Raspberry Pi CM5 platform and incorporates a Hailo-8 AI accelerator, capable of delivering up to 26 trillion operations per second (TOPS). This device is engineered to support high-bandwidth video streaming and efficient deployment of IP cameras, thanks to its four Gigabit Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet (PoE) PSE support, along with an additional Gigabit Ethernet port.
The reComputer R2245-12 is equipped with a robust set of industrial input/output options and offers flexible wireless connectivity. It features a fanless thermal design and operates reliably within a wide temperature range from -20°C to 50°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. The device supports various AI capabilities, including object detection, recognition, tracking, optical character recognition (OCR), and abnormal event detection, ensuring comprehensive video analytics.
The enclosure is constructed from IP40-rated aluminum alloy, providing durability and protection. It supports both DIN-rail and wall mounting, offering versatility in installation. The device also includes on-chip Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), with additional slots for LTE, LoRa, Zigbee, and 4G/5G modules, enhancing its connectivity options.
