This is a nice soldering kit to build your own signal generator and sensor for an electrical perimeter wire. The generator board is based on the popular NE555 Timer and the sensor board is based on two LC (tank) amplified circuits. Can be used with DIY Robot Lawnmowers. A processing chain (amplification, filters, comparison) makes it possible to determine the position of the robot within to the wire. Note that the perimeter wire is not included, but it comes with the through-hole components.

Kit efficace et bien conçu

Ce kit de générateur de périmètre avec ses 2 capteurs est bien conçu, simple à assembler, la plan fournit est succinct mais suffisant... J'ai effectué des tests avec un petit cable et un Arduino, ça fonctionne bien...maintenant, il ne reste plus qu'a monter ça sur mon prototype de robot de tonte et tester avec un fil plus long. En bref, pas cher, efficace, je recommande !

Excellent produit, bon prix, beaucoup à souder. Cela aurait été bien de pouvoir payer un peu plus pour recevoir un PCB entièrement assemblé, même si je le savais à l'avance.

Doesn't work. Don't waste your money (but mostly time)

I've bought 4 of these kits. I've soldered them together all per the instructions. The receiver PCB does not work as advertised! I'm getting a steady voltage of 3.8V on the signal lines even with no sender PCB.
