The RB-VOGUI+ All Terrain Mobile Manipulator Robot (Educational) is an advanced autonomous mobile manipulator engineered to facilitate automation in various sectors, including research and development, agriculture, and logistics. This versatile robot is adept at operating in both indoor and outdoor environments, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It is built upon the robust RB-VOGUI platform and comes equipped with a Universal Robots UR5e robotic arm, which enhances its capability to perform complex handling tasks.
The RB-VOGUI+ is designed to carry substantial loads, with the platform capable of supporting up to 125 kg and the robotic arm able to manipulate up to 5 kg. This makes it ideal for tasks such as planting, harvesting, crop monitoring, and the application of pesticides or fertilizers in agricultural settings. Additionally, it is well-suited for the transport and placement of materials in construction, assembly, and Pick & Place environments. The robot can also be employed for last-mile delivery tasks and the transportation of goods in outdoor warehouses or large facilities.
The robot's modular design is complemented by a ROS-based architecture, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to various operational requirements. It features a sophisticated localization system utilizing SLAM technology, which enhances its navigation capabilities. The RB-VOGUI+ is equipped with omnidirectional and dual Ackerman kinematics, allowing it to maneuver efficiently across diverse terrains. Its robust construction includes an IP53 weatherproof enclosure, enabling it to withstand challenging environmental conditions.
