The RoboG4TM Brushless DC Motor Controller, Single Channel, 360A, 60V, Hall & Encoder Inputs is designed to efficiently manage brushless DC motors. This fourth-generation single-channel controller can handle a maximum current of 360 amps and operates at a maximum voltage of 60V. It is equipped with power terminals for secure power connections and supports both trapezoidal and sinusoidal commutation methods.
The controller is compatible with a variety of rotor sensors, including encoders, Hall sensors, and others, ensuring versatile feedback options for precise motor control. It also features Field Oriented Control (FOC) for dynamic motor management. Communication with the controller is facilitated through multiple interfaces, including RS232, RS485, and USB, while the absence of an Ethernet port simplifies the design. The device is engineered with a focus on functional safety, incorporating Safe Torque Off (STO) to meet high safety standards, including PLe, Cat3, and SIL3 certifications.
The mechanical design of the controller includes a conduction plate for cooling, ensuring stable operation during extended use.
