The PTSolns I2C Backpack for 1602 and 2004 LCD Kit facilitates the integration of 1602 and 2004 LCDs with microcontrollers using the I2C protocol. Designed to be soldered onto the back of an LCD, it features a boost converter and a logic level shifter, enabling compatibility with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. Connectivity options include a 4-pin screw terminal and a QWIIC connector, allowing for easy daisy-chaining of additional I2C modules and sensors. The kit also provides LCD contrast and backlight control through onboard potentiometers and supports eight configurable addresses.
