The Pololu 9.7:1 Metal Gearmotor 25Dx48L mm HP 6V is a high-power, brushed DC motor integrated with a 9.68:1 metal spur gearbox. This cylindrical gearmotor features a diameter slightly less than 25 mm, with a D-shaped output shaft measuring 4 mm in diameter and extending 12.5 mm from the gearbox's face plate.
This model is part of a versatile range of cylindrical brushed DC gearmotors, which are available in various gear ratios and motor power levels. The consistent 25 mm diameter case and 4 mm diameter gearbox output shaft across the range facilitate easy interchangeability to accommodate evolving design requirements. Additionally, an integrated 48 CPR quadrature encoder is available as an option for enhanced functionality.
The gearmotor's output shaft is compatible with Pololu multi-hub wheels and can also be adapted for use with common scooter, skateboard, and inline skate wheels through a 4 mm scooter wheel adapter. It is also directly compatible with the hex adapters included with the 120 mm-diameter Wild Thumper wheels, making it suitable for use in all-terrain applications.
