The Pololu 75:1 Metal Gearmotor 25Dx69L mm HP 6V w/ 48 CPR Encoder is a high-performance gearmotor that integrates a 6 V brushed DC motor with a 74.83:1 metal spur gearbox. It features a 48 CPR quadrature encoder on the motor shaft, delivering 3591.84 counts per revolution of the gearbox’s output shaft. The gearmotor is cylindrical, with a diameter of just under 25 mm, and includes a D-shaped output shaft that is 4 mm in diameter and extends 12.5 mm from the gearbox face plate.
This gearmotor is part of a versatile range that includes various gear ratios and motor power levels, all maintaining the same 25 mm diameter case and 4 mm diameter output shaft. The encoder utilizes a two-channel Hall effect sensor to detect the rotation of a magnetic disk on the motor shaft, providing precise feedback on speed and direction.
