The Pololu 488:1 Metal Gearmotor 20Dx46L mm 6V is a compact yet powerful brushed DC gearmotor designed for applications requiring high torque in a small form factor. This model features a 6V motor integrated with a 488.3:1 metal spur gearbox, providing a robust solution for precise motion control. The gearmotor's cylindrical design has a diameter of 20 mm, and it includes a D-shaped output shaft that measures 4 mm in diameter and extends 18 mm from the gearbox's face plate.
Operating at 6 volts, the gearmotor achieves a rotational speed of 30 RPM with no load, drawing a current of 170 mA. Under stall conditions, it can deliver a torque of 310 oz-in (23 kg-cm) while consuming 2.9 A of current. This makes it suitable for demanding applications where high torque is essential.
