The Pololu 47:1 Metal Gearmotor 25Dx67L mm HP 12V w/ 48 CPR Encoder is a high-performance component designed for precision applications. It features a robust 12 V brushed DC motor integrated with a 46.85:1 metal spur gearbox. This configuration is enhanced by a 48 CPR quadrature encoder, which provides an impressive 2248.86 counts per revolution of the gearbox's output shaft, ensuring accurate feedback for control systems.
The gearmotor is cylindrical, with a diameter slightly under 25 mm, and includes a D-shaped output shaft that is 4 mm in diameter, extending 12.5 mm from the gearbox's faceplate. This design allows for easy integration into various mechanical systems. The motor and encoder are connected via six color-coded leads, terminated by a 1×6 female header, facilitating straightforward electrical connections.
