The Pololu 298:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor HPCB 12V w/ 12 CPR Encoder, Side Connector is a compact and efficient brushed DC motor designed for high-performance applications. It features a robust gearbox with a cross section of 10×12 mm and a D-shaped output shaft measuring 9 mm in length and 3 mm in diameter. This motor is engineered to operate at 12 volts, delivering a no-load speed of 110 RPM while drawing 80 mA of current.
Equipped with carbon brushes, the motor boasts a substantial gear ratio of 297.92:1, utilizing durable brass plates to ensure longevity and reliability. The inclusion of a 12 CPR incremental quadrature encoder enhances its functionality, providing precise feedback on the motor shaft's position and speed. The encoder is conveniently connected via a side-mounted 6-pin JST SH-style male connector, facilitating easy integration into various systems.
