The Pololu 210:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor HP 6V w/ 12 CPR Encoder, Back Connector is a compact and efficient brushed DC motor designed for high-performance applications. It features a robust metal gearbox with a cross-section of 10×12 mm and a D-shaped output shaft measuring 9 mm in length and 3 mm in diameter. This motor is engineered to operate at 6 volts, utilizing precious metal brushes to ensure durability and reliability.
The gearmotor is equipped with a 210.59:1 gear ratio, which is complemented by brass plates for enhanced strength and longevity. It incorporates a 12 CPR incremental quadrature encoder, which is connected via a back connector. This encoder is integrated with a two-channel incremental Hall effect sensor that detects the rotation of a magnetic disk on the motor shaft's rear protrusion, providing precise feedback with a resolution of 12 counts per revolution.
The motor's no-load performance at 6 volts is characterized by a rotational speed of 150 RPM and a current draw of 100 mA. It is capable of delivering a stall torque of 3.0 kg⋅cm (41 oz⋅in) with a stall current of 1.6 A, making it suitable for applications requiring significant torque and precision control. The encoder is equipped with a 6-pin JST SH-style male connector, facilitating easy integration into various systems.
