It features a low-power, 6-volt brushed DC motor integrated with a 171.79:1 metal spur gearbox. The gearmotor is equipped with a 48 CPR quadrature encoder, which is mounted on the motor shaft. This encoder provides a high resolution of 8245.92 counts per revolution of the gearbox’s output shaft, enabling precise monitoring and control of the motor's position and speed.
