The Pololu 10:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor HP 6V w/ 12 CPR Encoder, Side Connector is a compact and efficient brushed DC motor designed for precise control applications. It features a robust metal gearbox with a cross section of 10×12 mm and a D-shaped output shaft measuring 9 mm in length and 3 mm in diameter. This gearmotor is equipped with an integrated two-channel incremental Hall effect encoder, which detects the rotation of a magnetic disk attached to the motor shaft. The encoder provides a resolution of 12 counts per revolution, enhancing the motor's precision in applications requiring accurate positioning and speed control.
The encoder is connected via a 6-pin JST SH-style male connector, compatible with corresponding cables and connector boards. The side connector orientation is perpendicular to the motor, offering flexibility in installation and integration into various mechanical systems. This gearmotor is optimized for a 6 V power supply, delivering high performance with a no-load speed of 3100 RPM and a current draw of 100 mA. It is capable of handling a stall torque of 0.22 kg⋅cm, making it suitable for a range of light-duty applications.
