The Pololu 100:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor LP 6V w/ 12 CPR Encoder, Back Connector is a compact and efficient brushed DC motor designed for precision applications. It features a robust metal gearbox with a cross section of 10×12 mm and a D-shaped output shaft measuring 9 mm in length and 3 mm in diameter. This gearmotor is equipped with an integrated two-channel incremental Hall effect encoder, which accurately detects the rotation of a magnetic disk located on the rear protrusion of the motor shaft.

The encoder provides a resolution of 12 counts per revolution (CPR) by counting both edges of both channels, ensuring precise control and feedback for various applications. The encoder is connected via a 6-pin JST SH-style male connector, compatible with corresponding cables and connector boards. The back connector orientation is parallel to the motor, offering a streamlined design.

This gearmotor operates at a low power of 6 volts and is fitted with precious metal brushes, ensuring durability and reliable performance. It achieves a gear ratio of 100.37:1, allowing for a no-load speed of 130 RPM while drawing 40 mA. The motor's stall torque is extrapolated to be 0.74 kg⋅cm (10 oz⋅in) with a stall current of 0.36 A.
