Was skeptical at the low price and the loads of little stuff that comes in the bag but was pleasantly surprised. It is a good quality product that gets you started on your hobby or task. I have used it to solder about 40 connections now and it has worked flawlessly (I am an amateur). Have used the forceps, tips, solder sucking thing, wick and heat shrink, they all work. Great starters kit to see if you are going to stick with this hobby or if it is a one time soldering job! Also, the bag is super useful to keep everything together.
J'étais sceptique quant au prix bas et aux tas de petits trucs qui viennent dans le sac mais j'ai été agréablement surpris. C'est un produit de bonne qualité qui vous permet de commencer votre passe-temps ou votre tâche. Je l'ai utilisé pour souder environ 40 connexions maintenant et cela a fonctionné parfaitement (je suis un amateur). Ont utilisé la pince, les pointes, la chose à souder, la mèche et le thermorétractable, ils fonctionnent tous. Excellent kit de démarrage pour voir si vous allez vous en tenir à ce passe-temps ou s'il s'agit d'un travail de soudure ponctuel! De plus, le sac est super utile pour tout garder ensemble.
This was a very inexpensive kit that I got to replace my late 80’s 40W soldering iron. Right away I used something more solid for the base of the stand and the sponge was replaced with brass. Adjustable temperature is a bonus but pay attention to the setting if you touch the dial when you pick it up. I still haven’t had need for the desoldering pump or tweezers, but the desoldering braid and particularly the hook-up wire were nice to have. That practice PCB got used right away. I already had heatshrink tubing but still found uses for the short bit of the larger diameters. My favo(u)rite bonus part of the kit was the two miniature screwdrivers. I held onto my last soldering iron for over 35 years… If I ever justify upgrading from this one, I’ll probably still hang onto it. If you're a serious hobbyist maybe consider something more dedicated and less starter kit. If your just starting out. or finally retiring your old iron (and ways) get a flux pen too (but that will cost about half of what this kit does).
C’était un kit très bon marché que j’ai eu pour remplacer mon fer à souder 40W de la fin des années 80. J'ai tout de suite utilisé quelque chose de plus solide pour la base du support et l'éponge a été remplacée par du laiton. La température réglable est un bonus mais faites attention au réglage si vous touchez le cadran lorsque vous le prenez. Je n’ai toujours pas eu besoin de la pompe à dessouder ou de la pince à épiler, mais la tresse à dessouder et en particulier le fil de raccordement étaient agréables à avoir. Ce PCB de pratique a été utilisé tout de suite. J'avais déjà des tubes thermorétractables, mais je trouvais encore des utilisations pour le petit peu des plus grands diamètres. Ma partie bonus favo (u) rite du kit était les deux tournevis miniatures. J'ai gardé mon dernier fer à souder pendant plus de 35 ans… Si jamais je justifie la mise à niveau de celui-ci, je m'y accrocherai probablement encore. Si vous êtes un amateur sérieux, envisagez peut-être quelque chose de plus dédié et moins de kit de démarrage. Si vous débutez. ou enfin en retirant votre ancien fer (et les moyens), obtenez également un stylo à flux (mais cela coûtera environ la moitié de ce que fait ce kit).

Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied with a product purchased from the Site, you may request a return within 30 days from the delivery date, unless the product is listed under the Return Exceptions below or is subject to specific return conditions noted on the product page.
This return policy also applies, as a minimum standard, to products sold and fulfilled by third-party vendors through the Marketplace.

Returns under this policy concern non-defective products. In the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect, remedies are handled under the Warranty terms, at the Vendor's discretion. See the Warranty section.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a refund under the 30-day return policy, all of the following conditions must be met:
- A valid Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained prior to returning the product. Returns without an RA number will be refused.
- The RA number is valid for 30 days. The returned item must be received within that period.
- The RA number must be included with the return.
- Products must be returned in unused, unmodified condition (e.g., no scratches, alterations, missing parts, or signs of installation/use) and in their original packaging, suitable for resale.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of a product confirmed defective through RobotShop's troubleshooting process or of a verified shipping error by RobotShop.
- Refunds are processed within 7 days after receipt and inspection of the returned item.
- A $100 cleaning fee may apply to domestic robots returned in used or unclean condition.
- A 20% restocking fee may apply to large-quantity returns of items ordered specifically for the customer from the manufacturer or not part of RobotShop's standard inventory.
Return Exceptions
The following products are not eligible for return or refund under this policy:
- Used, damaged, or modified products — Items that show signs of use, wear, or alteration, making them unsuitable for resale.
- Consumables — Use and wear-and-tear components, altered or depleted through use (e.g., batteries, belts, brushes, gears, filament, tires, disposable bags, lubricants, greases, waxes, etc.). Not eligible for return once opened or used.
- Perishables — Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Not eligible for return.
- Sealed goods (health or hygiene) — Items sealed for health-protection or hygiene reasons (e.g., masks, gloves, odor-absorbing products). Not eligible for return once unsealed.
- Build-it-yourself products and items requiring customer assembly — Including robots & kits, robot parts, and other products requiring assembly or soldering. Not eligible for return once assembled, soldered, or installed.
- Digital Goods, Software, and Apps — Final sale only, due to licensing restrictions.
- Clearance Items — Products identified as clearance or final sale, including end-of-life or discontinued items.
- Custom-made, personalized, or special-order items — Products manufactured, configured, adapted, or built to the customer's own specifications and requirements.
- On-Demand Items — Standard catalogue products not stocked by RobotShop and ordered specifically to fulfill a customer request.

How to Request a Return Authorization (RA)
While the same return policy applies, these orders require a separate contact process for returns.
