The Phidgets 30V 50A Brushless DC Motor Phidget is a sophisticated brushless DC motor driver designed for high-performance applications. It operates with an 8-30V DC supply input and is capable of delivering up to 50 amps of continuous current, with a peak capacity of 75 amps to a single brushless DC motor. This device requires Hall-effect feedback for optimal functionality.

This motor driver offers three distinct operating modes: BLDC Motor, Position Controller, and Velocity Controller. The Position and Velocity Controller modes leverage the built-in encoder channel or Hall-effect sensor data to provide rapid and precise closed-loop control. Users can manually control the motor in BLDC Motor mode, allowing for the creation of custom control loops.
