The OpenBuilds LEAD CNC Machine 1515 (60 x 60 in) Black is a large, fully capable, and rigid machine designed for consistent high-resolution output in various production settings. This powerful machine can handle 4' x 4' sheets of material, allowing users to cut or 3D carve wood, plastics, aluminum, and more. It is perfect for creating intricate 3D carvings, inlays, furniture, signs, plaques, and other impressive works of art.

The LEAD 1515 features a rigid X-axis, incorporating double C-Beam Linear Rails for exceptional accuracy. A tensioning system is also included to ensure maximum performance. This easy-to-build kit comes with everything needed to assemble and wire the machine. Users can choose from various add-ons to complete their fully functional machine, such as a CNC Controller, Stepper Motors, Power Supply, and Router.

With its impressive capabilities and affordable price point, the LEAD 1515 is sure to become a staple in workshops everywhere. The machine boasts a travel work area of X-axis 46" (1170mm), Y-axis 49" (1250mm), and Z-axis 3.5" (~90mm). The workable material height is 2.5" (~63mm), based on a 1/2" spoiler board. The machine is lead screw driven and offers an accuracy of 0.001"~0.003" (0.05mm~0.10mm). Its footprint measures 65" x 65" (1650mm x 1650mm~).

The kit includes all necessary parts to assemble the machine, such as C-Beam Linear Rail, 8mm Acme Lead Screw, Xlarge C-Beam Plate, Xtreme Solid V Wheel, Wiring Kit, and Assembly Hardware.

Additional add-ons, such as the BlackBox X32 Motion Control, 24V Power Supply, NEMA 23 Stepper Motor, RoutER11, and Dust Shoe, can be purchased separately. Expansion kits, like the CNC Machine Laser Upgrade, are also available to enhance the capabilities of the LEAD CNC machine.

Included at no additional cost are the OpenBuilds CAM and CONTROL software, which provide everything needed to start creating projects.
