The Neato Botvac Connected Robot Vacuum Cleaner has a patented laser-guided technology scans and maps the room, plans, and methodically cleans, automatically moving from room to room. The robot can be paired with a home Wi-Fi network and the Neato app, to remotely set up a regular vacuuming schedule, start a full house or spot clean, stop or pause the robot and get instant notifications about the status of the vacuuming run.

It features a new Lithium Ion battery, two new cleaning modes (Eco and Turbo mode), an Ultra performance filter, a large brush, bigger-is-better dirt bin, and precise edge cleaning brush pick up more dirt and debris. Schedule daily cleanings or push a button for instant multi-room or spot cleaning. Automatically goes back to charge base, then returns to where it left off. The new battery allows for longer cleaning time, the Connected can clean between 4000-5000 Square feet in ECO mode. Regular Botvac and D-series are around 2500 Square feet.

This is my second NEATO. I had the first generation when I got a dog several years ago. That model was very useful, it did a great job of keeping the apartment clean and more or less devoid of pet hair. I had few problems with it, although it would get stuck from time to time or die on its way back to base. It would also get "confused" occasionally requiring human intervention to redirect its path. Overall, I was very satisfied with that unit. This thing is on a whole other level. It's run my 1500 sq. ft. house about twenty times. It has NEVER gotten itself stuck, nor has it failed to make it back to base for charging. I followed it around like an overprotective mother during its first few runs thinking it might take a dive down the stairs or get stuck under my coffee table or bar stools. I was also worried about it getting hung up on my bathroom on the mats. It handles all of these obstacles flawlessly. I travel a lot for work, and the sheer novelty of activating it to clean my floors from 2000 miles away makes it worth the money. When I got it and fired it up, it was able to clean about 1/2 to 3/4 of the house on one charge. After the fourth run, it was doing 90% of the house before needing to charge. I'm not sure if it "learns" to be more efficient or this is just a fluke. As far as it being a solid vacuum...I am kind of a clean freak, and have a nice upright vacuum I run once a week when I'm home. This thing consistently pulls up tons of dust. I was kind of disgusted on the first few runs just how much it collects, considering my borderline OCD level of cleanliness. I shopped around for this thing pretty thoroughly. Best Buy will sell it at the same price, then charge you tax, plus $99 for a four year warranty. Robot Shop charges you $699 out the door with a complimentary 5 year warranty. I could not find this value matched anywhere else.

I did not try other robotic vacuums, but to be my first, I'm impressed! The set-up has been incredibly easy in that you're just tying the vacuum on your phone via the Neato app. From the app you can control almost every aspect of the vacuum cleaner. I have an iPhone and the application is very simple to use. I should mention that you can use the vacuum without the app, but the app is very convenient. As for performance, the vacuum cleaner does a good job in general, vacuuming our first floor without leaving crumbs on the floor. We have a 2 year old and we try to clean as much as possible. We have programmed the vacuum cleaner to suck every night and it has worked well in recent weeks. It cleans the edges and corners pretty well! You have to make sure that the cords and clothes are off the ground or the Neato will try to suck it up. It's not as quiet as a whisper, but it's probably as noisy as a normal vacuum. There are 2 modes, one called eco and the other called Turbo. The Turbo mode is very noisy and is as loud as a regular vacuum. I have enelvé 1 star, because it "wedges" sometimes in random places and it must be corrected. There have also been a few times that the Neato has not been able to find its basic charging base. Just put it back on the charging base. The package comes with the Neato vacuum cleaner, the charging base, 1 additional filter, 1 extra roll, the magnetic tape (so that the vacuum cleaner does not go into certain areas / parts) and a cleaning tool. Overall, I would recommend this vacuum if you are looking for an automatic solution to clean your floors. Although not perfect, it made a huge difference in the cleanliness of our floors!

Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied with a product purchased from the Site, you may request a return within 30 days from the delivery date, unless the product is listed under the Return Exceptions below or is subject to specific return conditions noted on the product page.
This return policy also applies, as a minimum standard, to products sold and fulfilled by third-party vendors through the Marketplace.

Returns under this policy concern non-defective products. In the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect, remedies are handled under the Warranty terms, at the Vendor's discretion. See the Warranty section.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a refund under the 30-day return policy, all of the following conditions must be met:
- A valid Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained prior to returning the product. Returns without an RA number will be refused.
- The RA number is valid for 30 days. The returned item must be received within that period.
- The RA number must be included with the return.
- Products must be returned in unused, unmodified condition (e.g., no scratches, alterations, missing parts, or signs of installation/use) and in their original packaging, suitable for resale.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of a product confirmed defective through RobotShop's troubleshooting process or of a verified shipping error by RobotShop.
- Refunds are processed within 7 days after receipt and inspection of the returned item.
- A $100 cleaning fee may apply to domestic robots returned in used or unclean condition.
- A 20% restocking fee may apply to large-quantity returns of items ordered specifically for the customer from the manufacturer or not part of RobotShop's standard inventory.
Return Exceptions
The following products are not eligible for return or refund under this policy:
- Used, damaged, or modified products — Items that show signs of use, wear, or alteration, making them unsuitable for resale.
- Consumables — Use and wear-and-tear components, altered or depleted through use (e.g., batteries, belts, brushes, gears, filament, tires, disposable bags, lubricants, greases, waxes, etc.). Not eligible for return once opened or used.
- Perishables — Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Not eligible for return.
- Sealed goods (health or hygiene) — Items sealed for health-protection or hygiene reasons (e.g., masks, gloves, odor-absorbing products). Not eligible for return once unsealed.
- Build-it-yourself products and items requiring customer assembly — Including robots & kits, robot parts, and other products requiring assembly or soldering. Not eligible for return once assembled, soldered, or installed.
- Digital Goods, Software, and Apps — Final sale only, due to licensing restrictions.
- Clearance Items — Products identified as clearance or final sale, including end-of-life or discontinued items.
- Custom-made, personalized, or special-order items — Products manufactured, configured, adapted, or built to the customer's own specifications and requirements.
- On-Demand Items — Standard catalogue products not stocked by RobotShop and ordered specifically to fulfill a customer request.

How to Request a Return Authorization (RA)
While the same return policy applies, these orders require a separate contact process for returns.
