This specialized kit is a plug-n-play product to exhibit the enhanced performance of NanoSen polymer nanocomposite (PNC) force sensing technologies. Our PNC material changes its electrical conductivity when compressed and is made from medical grade polymers, capable of withstanding 10MPa of pressure without being damaged.
A single 20mm sensor boasts both high sensitivity at forces beginning at 0.01N and stable measurements up to 150N. In addition, up to 80 micrometers of compression can be detected with the same sensor, giving applications the option of force and/or displacement values.
Readout electronics can be integrated through USB and I²C. With optional unique hardware adressing, more than one kit can be used within the same system.
Equipped with minimum and maximum range calibration buttons, the LED strip can be used for visualizing force measurements without the need for separate programing.
The PNC sensor kit provides five 20mm force sensors, which can be used in parallel for measuring forces at different points.
