The Mini Photocell Light Sensor is a very small photocell. A photocell changes (also called a photo detector, CdS or photoconductive cell) resistance depending on the amount of light it is exposed to. These little sensors make great ambient light triggers.

Non linear response , but still easy to use with microcontrollers or OP Amp comparators.

Does its job well

This sensor does everything its described to do. Gives a fair reading of the different light levels so you should have it fit your needs pretty well. The price and size make it fairly good for any project.

Ce capteur fait tout ce qui est décrit. Donne une lecture juste des différents niveaux de lumière, vous devriez donc l’adapter à vos besoins. Le prix et la taille le rendent assez bon pour tout projet.
