TTS Blue-Bot Bluetooth Programmable Floor Robot - A programmable floor robot designed to introduce control and programming in an engaging way.
With Bluetooth functionality, this robot offers control via tablets or PCs, enhancing interactive learning.
This programmable floor robot introduces children to the world of coding and robotics in an interactive and engaging manner. With the capability to communicate with other Blue-Bots and Bee-Bots, it fosters teamwork and develops communication skills. Its transparent design allows children to peek inside, sparking curiosity about how technology works.
The robot's Bluetooth connectivity enables seamless interaction with tablets, enriching the programming experience without compromising security, as the companion app does not collect personal data. Its rechargeable feature highlights an eco-friendly approach, reducing the reliance on disposable batteries.
Aligned with the UK Computing curriculum at Key Stages 1 and 2, the robot serves as a practical tool for teaching programming, debugging, and algorithm understanding and has a memory of up to 200 steps. It encourages the development of critical computational thinking and problem-solving abilities, equipping children for the digital age.
The See & Say feature gives Blue-Bot a voice and perception! Record each of the arrow keys to play back when entering a program or when Blue-Bot is following one. Blue-Bot See & Say can also detect and respond with either a beep or a pre-recorded message when encountering another See & Say Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot.
Supports the National Curriculum:
Computing, Key Stage 1 - Create and debug simple programs.
Computing, Key Stage 1 - Understand what algorithms are, how they are implemented as programs on digital devices, and that programs execute by following precise and unambiguous instructions.
Computing, Key Stage 2 - Design, write and debug programs that accomplish specific goals, including controlling or simulating physical systems and solve problems by decomposing them into smaller parts.
Countryside Mat 75 x 75 cm - Embark on a countryside adventure with Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot. Explore country side animals and places. This mat forms part of the Bee-Bot World, where 4 mats can be joined together. Enhance learning through adventure with the TTS Bee-Bot Countryside Mat. Designed to complement Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot, this mat offers an interactive platform for children to explore various aspects of the countryside. It serves as an engaging tool for teaching directional language and basic programming, weaving environmental awareness into technology lessons.
Fairy Tale mat 45 x 120 cm - An engaging activity mat that introduces children to control technology through beloved fairy tales. This mat offers a dynamic platform for children to engage with coding basics by programming the Bee-Bot to navigate through fairy tale settings. Ideal for reinforcing computational skills, this mat lets children program a path through stories like Jack and the Beanstalk.
