The M5Stack CoreS3 ESP32S3 loT Development Kit is the third iteration in the M5Stack development kit series. The central unit of this kit utilizes the ESP32-S3 solution and is powered by a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor with a main frequency of 240MHz. It is equipped with WiFi functionality and has onboard storage of 16M FLASH and 8M-PSRAM.

Programs can be downloaded through the TYPE-C interface, which supports OTG and CDC functions, making it easier to connect external USB devices and flash firmware. The kit features a 2.0-inch capacitive touch IPS screen, fortified with high-strength glass material. A 30w pixel camera GC0308 is integrated at the bottom of the screen, along with a proximity sensor LTR-553ALS-WA.

The power supply component utilizes the AXP2101 power management core chip and a 4-way power flow control loop, ensuring a low power consumption design. The kit is equipped with a 6-axis attitude sensor BMI270 and a magnetometer BMM150. It also includes an onboard TF-card (microSD) card slot and a BM8563 RTC chip, which provides accurate timing and sleep-timer wake-up function.

In terms of audio output, the kit uses a high-fidelity 16bits-I2S power amplifier chip AW88298 and has a built-in 1w speaker. For audio input, it employs an ES7210 audio decoding chip and dual microphone input. The side of the unit houses an independent power button and a restart (RST) button, with a self-built delay circuit. A long press on the reset button allows the user to enter the program download mode.

The M5Stack CoreS3 ESP32S3 loT Development Kit comes with a DinBase Base, which is suitable for Din rail, wall, and screw fixing. It can be powered by an external DC 12V (supporting 9-24V) or an internal 500mAh lithium battery. The DinBase provides multiple proto locations for users to customize as per their needs. This product is ideal for various applications such as Internet of Things development, DIY project development, smart home control systems, and industrial automation control systems.
