ATOMIC Stepmotor Base with DRV8825 Driver Chip
Features adjustable variable resistor for maximum driving capability of 1.2A
Includes overcurrent protection for safe operation
Offers flexible adjustment of stepper motor's subdivision
Suitable for a wide range of applications, including 3D printers and CNC machines
The M5Stack ATOMIC Stepmotor Base (DRV8825) is a standalone variant of the ATOM Stepmotor, specifically designed for those who already possess an ATOM series controller. This base is furnished with a high-performance DRV8825 driver chip, which is instrumental in driving stepper motors. The variable resistor can be adjusted to provide a maximum driving capability of 1.2A, thereby ensuring a stable and potent power supply for the stepper motor.
The chip within the base comes with an in-built overcurrent protection feature, which guarantees the safe operation of both the motor and the base. The ATOMIC Stepmotor Base also boasts a convenient DIP switch, which allows for flexible adjustment of the stepper motor's subdivision. This feature enables the user to select the motor's motion precision and control effect based on the specific requirements of the project.
Additionally, the base incorporates a built-in DC chip, which can be powered by an external power supply for the entire system. When operating a stepper motor, an external power supply ranging from 9-18V is necessary to ensure stable and reliable driving. This versatility makes the ATOMIC Stepmotor Base suitable for a wide range of applications, including but not limited to 3D printers, CNC machines, robots, automation equipment, and camera gimbals.
Please note that when using a stepper motor, an external power supply (9-18V) is required to ensure stable and reliable driving.
