Description
High quality black anodized brushed aluminum bracket
The universal mounting holes allow attaching the SRF-04, SRF-05, SRF-08 or the Sharp GP2 series of IR Sensors to a servo
Bracket can also be used to static mount the sensors to a robot body
Includes hardware to mount a single sensor to the bracket, and to mount the bracket to a servo
Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Ultrasonic Sensor Note that not all ultrasonic sensors work with this bracket. Tested sensors include the PING and several from Devantech. Attach the hex spacer to the bracket as shown, using two 2-56 x .250 screws and 2-56 spacers in opposite corners. Leave them a little loose.
Step 2: Ultrasonic Sensor Attach the ultrasonic sensor using two 2-56 x .250 screws and tighten in place.
Step 3: IR Sensor Attach a Sharp GP-series IR sensor to the bracket as shown using two 4-40 screws and nuts.
Step 4 Attach the bracket to a Hitec standard nylon servo horn as shown using two #2 tapping screws.
Ce sont des supports de montage très pratiques. Je les utilise avec des capteurs à ultrasons et Sharp IR. Je l'utilise aussi avec le LiDAR Garmin. Les supports donnent au robot un look propre. John-

Simple, functional, but may require some rework to mount your sensor
I purchased this to hold an ultrasonic sensor that I was mounting to a pan/tilt head to do sonar mapping. I had purchased the ultrasonic sensors (HC-SR04) from other sources. They did not match up to the mounting holes in this housing. I ended up using some double sided tape to hold the sensor to the housing. (The HC-SR04 sensors are not very good!) I subsequently purchased a MaxSonar (MB1340) sensor. That sensor did not match the mounting holes either, but it was not difficult to drill out some new mounting holes.
