The LIGPOWER V602 KV180 12S VTOL Brushless Drone Motor is a sophisticated propulsion system engineered for use in multirotor, fixed-wing, and VTOL drones. This motor is characterized by its KV value of 180 and is designed to withstand high temperatures, featuring anti-rust treatment and coatings that resist temperatures up to 180°C. The motor's magnet temperature resistance is classified as Class E, capable of withstanding up to 150℃, while its enamelled wires are rated at Class C, enduring up to 220℃.
The motor's dimensions are compact, with a diameter of 68.8 mm and a height of 36.9 mm, and it weighs 300 grams, increasing to 345 grams when including cables. It is built to meet rigorous standards, including a rotor dynamic balance standard of ≤5mg and an IP rating of IP45, ensuring durability and reliability in various environmental conditions.
For optimal performance, the motor is recommended to be paired with a 12S battery, operating within a voltage range of 42-52V. It is compatible with a FLAME 60A 12S electronic speed controller (ESC) and is designed to handle a peak current of 45A continuously for up to 180 seconds. The motor can deliver a maximum continuous power output of 2000W for the same duration, making it suitable for demanding applications.
