The LIGPOWER V505 KV260 12S VTOL Brushless Drone Motor is engineered for VTOL drone propulsion systems, making it suitable for multirotor, fixed-wing, and VTOL drones. This motor is characterized by a KV value of 260 and is optimized for use with a 12S battery configuration, which operates within a voltage range of 42 to 52 volts. The motor is designed to withstand high temperatures, featuring a magnet temperature resistance grade of Class E 150℃, and incorporates anti-rust treatment along with high-temperature-resisting coatings in its stator technology.
The motor's configuration includes a 24N28P coil with a withdraw voltage capacity, and it is equipped with a shaft diameter of 6 mm internally and 4 mm externally. It adheres to a rotor dynamic balance standard of less than or equal to 5 mg and utilizes imported 696ZZ bearings for enhanced performance. The motor is rated with an IP45 protection level, ensuring a degree of protection against solid objects and water ingress.
With a maximum power output of 2500 watts for continuous operation up to 180 seconds, the motor weighs 215 grams, or 255 grams when including cables. It is recommended to be paired with a FLAME 60A 12S ESC and compatible propellers such as P165.4 or P175.8 to achieve optimal performance. The motor's internal resistance is measured at 58 mΩ, contributing to its efficient operation.
