The UWB (Ultra Wideband) Positioning Module w/ ESP32, DWM1000 & Arduino (ULA1) is a development module that takes Arduino as its development environment and Decawaves DWM1000 module as its core UWB module. ULA1 can be used for precise ranging, indoor positioning, and other high-speed data communication applications.

A minimum, high-precision positioning system consisting of three anchors and one tag can be achieved by four ULA1 modules. Similarly, a typical high-precision positioning system consisting of four anchors and one tag can be achieved by five ULA1 modules.

The system design is open-source. We provide users with embedded source code, hardware schematics, PC software source code, video tutorials, and other materials to help users quickly learn how UWB positioning works and get to work with it.

ULA1 modules can be used either as anchors or tags. HR RTLS1 is a complete positioning system which consists of a combination of five or more ULA1 modules.
